This website has been created with maximum accessibility in mind.
Here are some of the accessibility steps we have taken and the options which are available to users of this website.
Web Accessibility Initiative
This site conforms to the majority of Priority 1, 2 and 3 aspects of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, produced by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) as part of its Web Accessibility Initiative.
Access Keys
You can use a number of different keyboard shortcuts to navigate to major sections of this website. These are particularly useful for those who do not use a mouse. Press Alt on a PC or Ctrl on a Mac simultaneously with the letter specified below to select the page you are looking for. Then, simply press return to go there.
Most 'access keys' are the initial letter of the name of that page. If you get lost, use A for the list on this page or 1 to return to the homepage. All keys below work on every page of this website.

Screen Reader Compatibility
All images have been assigned a text equivalent so that those using screen reader software (such as JAWS) will be able to hear a description of each image. Other users may also see these descriptions if their mouse hovers over an image.
Browser Windows
Web page hyperlinks on this site do not open a new browser window unless stated. This helps avoid any confusion that may be caused by having multiple windows open unaware.

Some media files on this website require or will benefit from the free QuickTime media player from Apple. QuickTimes comes with iTunes to organise your media library. Get QuickTime with iTunes (opens new window).
PDF files on this website require the free reader from Adobe which many computers already have. Get Adobe Reader (opens new window).
